Abstract [en]
In this project I aim to design a multifunctional office table suitable for both working and leisure, with a particular focus on meeting the needs of adults with ADHD. By integratingelements that appeal to the senses of touch and vision, the table seeks to demonstrate the significant impact aesthetics has on well-being, emphasizing functionality alongside aestheticappeal which fosters an environment that acknowledges the importance of rest and recharge alongside productivity.
Central to this endeavor is the pursuit of dignity and respect for individuals with ADHD, acknowledging their diverse experiences and preferences. By addressing questions of inclusivityand the role of design in accommodating diverse needs, the thesis advocates for broader awareness and acceptance of neurodiversity in both professional and casual environments, ultimately offering a versatile solution that caters to the diverse needs of both neurotypical and neurodivergent.
