Abstract [en]

Spatial Collage is a degree project about a deep dive into a design method I have developed revolving around collage. The project explores collage as a sketching method for physical objects and furniture for a spatial installation. Through an intuitive and iterative design process, 2-dimensional images transforms and interprets into 3-dimensional objects, guided by shapes, colors, and layers present in the collages. The collage is used as a tool for keeping a playful and irrational design process and as an investigation of unexpected results.
