Fair Electronics is a project aiming to raise awareness about the unethical production of electronics by showing a different mineral supply chain scenario, and visualizing that in a product. By providing a favourable option for consumers, the intention is to make it easier for them to imagine a future where more responsibility is taken for how trade affects people in countries that are rich in natural resources, but have weak systems controlling the trade.To achieve this I have made an app for smartphones and a brooch as a campaign product to create attention for the project.
