I first started writing this text in a form of a note on my phone that eventually became multiple notes. After a few months of practicing note writing as a background operation fuelling all of my practices – mostly sculpture-making and performance – I decided that having one single note would be more convenient than repeatedly going through many fragments scattered around the note app. This note – which is now pinned amongst other notes, for instance a list of my favourite Slovak words, a vague script for a performance and a list of places we wanted to see in Berlin – starts with ‘‘Sticking fingers in your mouth when yo...’’. At the time I wrote this I knew exactly who’s mouth I was sticking my fingers in, but now I don’t remember anymore and that’s great.
