I created this rocking chair starting from the basic geometric shapes: the circle, the triangle, the square, and the rectangle. The movement that occurs when I rock makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. The same comfort, I think, is present when we lie gestating in our mothers’ wombs. I find the various moods that arise during this type of movement to be interesting.

Med utgångspunkt i de geometriska grundformerna: cirkeln, triangeln, kvadraten och rektangeln har jag skapat denna gungstol.Rörelsen som uppstår när jag gungar, gör att jag känner mig trygg och lugn. Samma trygghet, tror jag, infinner sig när vi som foster ligger i mammas mage. De olika sinnesstämningarna som uppkommer vid den typen av rörelse finner jag intressant.
